Introduction
Before using for the first time, kindly take time to carfully read your user
manual. Please observe all safety precautions and follow operating
procedures. After reading, kindly store your manual in a safe place for
your future reference. If you pass this appliance to a third party, these
operating manual must also be hended over.
Basic safety instructions
• Read and familiarize yourself with all operating instructions before
attempting to use the grill.
• Always operate grill from a power source of the same voltage, frequency
and rating as indicated on the rating label.
• Do not operate or place any sandwich maker on or near any hot surface
such as a gas or electric burner, hotplate or heated oven.
• This appliance is only for domestic use, and not for commercial use.
• Keep the appliance out of the reach of children.
• As all cooking times vary, do not leave the appliance unattended while
switched on.
• Beware that surfaces may become very hot during and after use.
Always use an oven glove or clothe. Use the handles provided and do
not touch heating surfaces.
• Always disconnect the plug from mains before cleaning - wipe clean
only. Never immerse the unit in water or any other liquids, or come into
contact with them. Do not use it with wet hands.
• If the appliance should become wet or damp, remove plug from mains
socket immediately. Do not put your hands in the water!
• Use this appliance only for its intended purpose.
• Always allow the unit to cool down before storage or cleaning.
• Always ensure that the plastic drip tray is in place before use, remove
and empty the drip tray before storing the unit.
• Always retain user instructions safely for future use and reference.
• There are no user serviceable parts, if the unit fails, consult a qualified
electrical repair center or contact the supplier.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children)
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of
experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for
their safety.
Caution: Hot surface!
The surfaces are liable to get hot during use.
