exhaust vent pipe and seal all
edges with non-flammable insula-
tion such as fiberglass, mineral
wool or ceramic.
Do not use high temperature caulk-
ing materials to seal any edge to
prevent furture serviceability.
NOTE:
In Canada this fi replace insert must be installed
with a continous chimney liner a 6 inch (152mm) in diam-
eter extending from the fi replace insert to the top of the
chimney. The chimney liner must conform to the Class
3 requirments of CAN/ULC-S635, Standard for Lining
Systems for Extising Masonry or Factory-Built Chimneys
and Vents, or CAN/ULC-S640, Standard for Lining Sys-
tems for New Masonry Chimneys.
