Compliant Shoulder and Pelvic (Lap) Belt Restraint
(G) must go across occupant’s shoulder and pelvis
(hips), and not be worn twisted or held away from the
occupant’s body by wheelchair components. We do
not recommend only using a pelvic belt restraint
because it will compromise the performance of the
system.
7. Route Black Lap Belt between wheelchair frame and
occupant’s hip and insert into buckle stalk (H).
8.
Recommended 3-Point System:
(If vehicle does not have
an Upper Anchorage Belt proceed to step 11.) Buckle Blue
Shoulder Belt to Buckle on Upper Anchorage Belt (J).
9. Pull Blue Shoulder Belt over occupant’s chest and attach
Shoulder Belt Pin Connector to Pin on Lap Belt (K).
