Dear QSC Customer,
In addition to the “Cover Letter” from QSC, we as distributor for the BeNeLux, UK, Germany and
France (AED Distribution) have some extra information.

The units that are in our warehouse and QSC’s warehouse do not have the new firmware yet. All
units shipping out now do not have the new firmware. QSC will let us know from when units coming
from the factory will have the new firmware. Until further notice all units that ship out to you will
have the old firmware and you will need to update them yourself.
If you buy from a local dealer you will need to check with them if your units have the new firmware
or not.
You can check yourself if the unit has the new firmware or not:
Go to the SETTINGS MENU and check the firmware version, it should be 1.1.0.3101
Units coming from AED Distribution as replacement for defective units will have the new firmware
and will have a GREEN DOT next to the serial number on the outside of the box.
If you are a reseller and you update speakers that are to be sold as new, please make a similar
marking on the serial number label, for example with a colored marker. This way you and your
customer s know if the new firmware is uploaded or not.
