For Non-Elecraft rigs,
plug your paddle into the PADDLE port
on the right side of the SideKar
Decoder Edition
and connect a
mono or stereo cable with 3.5mm connectors (right-angle is
best) from the
KEYOUT port to your rig’s key input. Set the rig
to straight key for the paddle keying mode.
In this manner the keying is done by the buit-in CW keyer and
the functions above (speed, mode, paddle swap) are all
accessible from the keyboard.
