The PowerGen requires Preston Cor-Guard AF-2000 Coolant, 50/50, coolant/water mix (4.2
gal total). This is the same coolant mixture used in the automotive industry in heavy-duty
automobiles.
If for any reason the coolant loop is empty and needs to be filled, please follow the following
Coolant Fill procedure.
To fill the PowerGen coolant loop perform the following steps:
1.Verify all coupling coolant lines are securely fitted and both drainage plugs are tightly
closed.
2.Loosen the over flow tank cover mounting bolts (Figure 17-2) using a #5mm Allen wrench (2
each). Swing cover plate as to allow access to over flow tank cap.
3. Remove radiator cap (Figure 17-2) and loosen the air removal plug with a 9/16” open-end
wrench (Figure 17-3) by 2-2.5 complete turns.
4. Add coolant, while inspecting the air removal plug. Once coolant begins to flow through the
air removal plug, close the plug using a 9/16” open-end wrench.
5. Top up the radiator (Figure 17-2) close caps.
6. Fill over flow tank to about 2” from top of black plastic lid (Figure 17-2).
7. Run FPC auto-fill sequence by clicking on Qnergy Lynx, Fill Sequence button (located on the
bottom of the Qnergy Lynx software).

8. Once the Fill Sequence is complete, top up the radiator.
9.Repeat step 7 & 8 a second time.
10.Replace over flow tank cover and tighten socket head cap screws (2 each, Figure 17-2).
WARNING:
Danger of burning and scalding!
Burn hazard, hot surface – allow PowerGen to cool
before servicing.
Do not fill PowerGen radiator with coolant while
system is running.
The over flow tank with black plastic cap can be
filled during operation
