5. MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
WARNING!
Always switch off and unplug the appliance before cleaning.
•
Never immerse the power cord, plug or motor base in water or any other liquid.
•
Do not use any abrasive detergents or scouring pads.
•
Clean the housing of the motor base with a soft damp cloth and then wipe dry.
•
Parts that have come into contact with food can be cleaned in soapy water.
•
Allow the parts to dry thoroughly before reassembling the appliance.
•
Store the blender in a cool dry place out of the reach of children.
CAUTION:
Be careful when handling the cutting accessories as they are very sharp.
The blade is mounted in the jar and cannot be removed. Use extreme caution when cleaning the
inside of the jar as the blade is extremely sharp. Always use a suitable cleaning tool, not your
hands, to clean the inside of the jar.
