During a run, the instrument screen displays the Pyrogram
®
of the
selected well. Use the scroll arrows to view the Pyrogram of other wells.
After the run
1. When the instrument confirms that the run is finished and the run file
has been saved to the USB stick, press
Close
.
2. Remove the USB stick. If it was removed before the run finished, insert
the USB stick. Select
Administration
and then
Copy Unsaved Runs
.
3. Remove and discard the PyroMark Q24 Plate.
4. Remove the cartridge and discard remaining reagents. If the cartridge
is to be reused, follow the instructions in the
PyroMark Q24 User
Manual
to clean it properly.
5. Analyze the run with the PyroMark Q24 Software (see the
PyroMark
Q24 Software User Guide
).
Shutting down the instrument
1. Select
Shutdown
in the main menu and press
OK
.
2. When the message “It is now safe to turn off the instrument” appears
in the screen, switch off the instrument. The power switch is located at
the rear of the instrument.
3. Press the light button at the rear of the instrument and check that the
coolant level is visible in the window. If not, please contact QIAGEN
Technical Services.
4. If the instrument requires cleaning, follow the instructions provided in
the
PyroMark Q24 User Manual
.
