Zone Tamper Enable: 

 

QUESTION 40 Zones 1 to 16 ,  (Zones 17 to 32 are question number 50) 

 
Location 1 = Tamper zones 1 to 4,  

Location 2 = Tamper zones 5 to 8,  

Location 3 = Tamper zones 9 to 12,   Location 4 = Tamper zones 13 to 16. 

 
Tamper is only selectable on zones 1 to 16. When making use of the tamper facility, the zone wiring differs 
from the normal EOL wiring, to a dual EOL configuration, using a 3k3 ohm in series with the alarm contacts 
and a 15k in parallel with the alarm contacts and 3k3.  
The normally closed tamper contact is wired in series with this configuration. 
 

Tampers may not be selected on common zones.

 If tampers are required on common zone then a 

separate zone must be utilized, and programmed as a 24-hour zone.
