Aspects of each camera can be adjusted from this menu.
4.6.2.1 Camera Tab
•
Camera No
: This field allows the user to choose the camera/channel to edit. The Camera No. is the same as
the number written on the rear panel next to the Ethernet port used to connect the camera.
•
Camera Name
: This field allows the user to select a name for the selected camera. By default, all channels are
named the same as the Camera No. field, but this can be set to 16 character string.
•
Disable Preview
: This checkbox allows the user to disable the selected channel’s live view.
•
Display Camera Name
: This checkbox allows the user to enable display of the camera name on the screen as
an overlay.
•

captured.
•
OSD Display Position
: This button gives the user access to a screen that can set the exact positions of any
overlaid text, such as the camera name and the date and time. Overlay text for channel name or date/time
can be clicked and dragged to the desired position. To exit the OSD Display Position screen, right click. A
context menu will appear with two options: Save and Exit. To exit without saving, click Exit. To save changes,
click Save.
•
Image Settings
: This button gives the user access to change the camera’s image, including brightness,
contrast, saturation, and hue.
