BEFORE FIRST USE
NOTE: Smoke and odors may occur during first use.
1.
Clean the appliance and the plates. See the «Care and Cleaning» section.
2. Place the mains plus into socket .
3. Preheat the toaster for about 10 minutes with the plates open .
4. Unplug the appliance from the mains.
5. Remove any stickers.
This procedure is required for the first use only.
1. Plug in the appliance.
2. The power indicator light (2) will turn on.
3. Once the device has been preheated, the temperature indicator light (3) will turn on.
NOTE: During the warm-up always have the plates closed.

As soon as the temperature indicator light turn off, open the plates and place the food on
the baking plate. During baking, the temperature light flashes at intervals to maintain the
correct temperature.
5. Close the plates.
6. Allow the food to be baked according to your preference, type of material and thickness.
7. Once you have finished cooking, remove the food and disconnect the appliance from the
socket.
CAUTION: Never touch the surfaces of the device while it is in operation. Use the
handle to open the top cover. Be extra careful when removing hot food from the
grill plates.
