Wiring — FM Modulator unit
ACC/Ignition power lead (red)
Connect to where the power is
supplied when the ACC power or
ignition switch is turned ON.
Battery power lead (pink)
Memory back up. To be connected
to continuous power source.
Ground lead (black)
Screw this to a metal part of the
vehicle.
Interference on 89.1 MHz
•
If a clear signal cannot be obtained on 89.1 MHz, change
the position of the frequency select switch on the back
of the FM Modulator and tune the radio to 88.7 MHz
when using the CD changer.
•
Select a frequency before mounting the FM Modulator.
Radio sensitivity is slightly reduced when the FM
Modulator is connected.
•
RESET SWITCH
A reset switch is located at the bottom of the FM modulator
can only activated by a thin pointed object when:
1. After all the wiring installation completed.
2. If abnormal disc operation occurs.
