OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS 

POWER SOURCE 

1.  Connect the AC adaptor to the DC IN jack on the back of  of the unit firmly, and plug 

it into a wall outlet. 

2.  Slide the power switch on the back of the unit to 

“ON” positon, the unit is in standby 

mode, and 

display shows “--:--” with flashing digits. 

3.  You  can  now  press  the

 button  on  unit  or  remote  control  to  turn  on  the  unit.  The 

display shows “HELLO”. Press the

 button  on  unit  or  remote  control  to  turn  off  the 

unit, then the 

display shows “GOOD--BYE”. 

4.  Slide  the  power  switch  on  the  back  of  the  unit  to 

“OFF”  positon,  and  pull  the  AC 

adaptor out of the wall outlet if you

 

want to switch off completely. 

 

CLOCK SETTING 

During in the STANDBY mode: 
1.  Press  and  hold 

PROG. 

button  on  unit  or  remote  control  until  the  time  displays  24-

hour digit flashing. 

2.  Press 

 or 

 button to adjust 12-hour or 24-hour digit.  

3.  Press

  PROG.

 

button again, the time display HOUR digit flashes, press the 

 or 

 

button  to  adjust  HOUR  digit.  Press 

PROG.

 

button  once  more,  the  MINUTE  digit 

flashes, adjust it by the

 

 or 

 button. 

4.   Press 

 

PROG.

 

button again to confirm the time.

 

5.    Each  enable  state  as  shown  above  will  be  cleared  if  the  key  is  not  pushed  in  10 

seconds.  

 

RADIO OPERATION 

TUNNING 

1.  Press 

STANDBY/ON

  button  on  the  unit  or  remote  control  to  turn  on  the  unit  and 

press the 

FUNCTION

 button on the unit or 

FM

 button on remote control to select the 

TUNER mode. 

2.  Press 

 or 

 

button will change the frequency by 0.05MHz. 

3.  Press 

  or 

 

button  for  approx.  1  second  to  active  automatic  tuning.  Automatic 

tuning  stops  when  the  first  station  with  a  sufficiently  strong  signal  has  been  found. 
The display shows STEREO when a stereo signal is beiing received. 

 

MONO/ STEREO SELECT 

This  unit can  receive  the  FM  mode  only. When  you   press 

FM  MONO/STOP 

button  on 

remote control, the FM STEREO indicator will turn

 

off & switch to MONO FM status. 

 

STATION MEMORY 

You can also preset stations of your choice and store up 20 FM stations in its memory.  

1.  Tune to the required station. 
2.  Press 

PROG. 

button  on  unit  or  remote.  The  station 

number flashes in the display. 

3.  Press 

 or 

 

button for your desired station number. 

4.  Press 

PROG.

 button to store the station.

 

5.  Repeat steps 1 to 4 to store more stations or change previously stored stations.
