Helpful Hints
For the best user experience, place your
SmartVP horizontally and as near to your
eye level as possible.
Avoid placing your SmartVP close to your
system’s speakers as this may cause
interference, especially for the remote party.
Make sure you have good lighting – having
good lighting will ensure that your face and
hands are easy to see.
Plug the green end of the HDMI Cable into
the outlet on the SmartVP and
plug the red end into the HDMI port located
on your TV.
Connect the yellow end of the Ethernet Cable
into the port located on your SmartVP.
Connect the blue end directly into an Ethernet
port on your router
or Internet wall jack.
Connect SmartVP with
the Internet

Choose your TV Input/Source

Using SmartVP requires switching your TV to
the HDMI input setting. To switch input settings,
look for the
Input or Source button on your TV
remote. Press this button to view different inputs.
Select the HDMI input setting that matches
where you connected the SmartVP HDMI cable
port on your TV.
Examples may not match your remote.
HDMI port locations may vary from TV to TV.
