WARNING
Improper execution of service tasks.

Ensure that the service tasks described below
are only performed by specialized staff.
In addition, ensure that all other service tasks
are only performed by PTW-Freiburg or by a
person authorized by PTW-Freiburg.
6 Cleaning
General Information on Cleaning
DANGER
Liquids have entered the product.
Shock Hazard! Erroneous Measurements!
Have the product inspected by service person-
nel before putting it into service again.
NOTICE
To avoid surface damage, do not use disinfec-
tants on a phenol base or peroxide compounds
to disinfect the surface.
The product cannot be sterilized or completely
disinfected.
The outer shell of the detectors is made of plastic.
To avoid impairing the equipment functions, the
detectors must not be treated with or come in con-
tact with grease, oil, alcohol, or substances con-
taining solvents.
Cleaning agents and solvents contained in disin-
fectants (alcohols) have proved to be particularly
harmful.
