• Remove the fertilizer hoses, and wash them immediately, with water and neutral
soap only.
• Wash the whole machine with water only.
• Wash the fertilizer augers with special attention, in order to remove any
adherences.
• Verify all the rotating parts of the planter for wearing occurrence. If necessary, make
the replacement of the parts. By leaving the equipment ready for the next planting
season.
• Repair the painting failure of the machine.
• Spray the metallic parts with protective oil, never spray with used engine lubricant
oil.
• The transmission chains should be removed in the end of planting season, clean
and store them in a recipient with protective oil until the next planting season.
• Clean and lubricate all the grease Fittings.
• After making all the repairs and maintenance cares, store the planter in appropriate
place, that is, dry and covered place.
• Maintain the planter properly supported and avoid the contact of the double discs
and tires directly to the ground.
