The RS-485 serial connection is made with three wires as indicated below. Line termination resistors of
110 ohms are needed both ends of the RS 485 line.
Note: Disconnect AzComT PC software before starting Modbus-RTU interfacing.

process controllers with shielded twisted pairs as below is recommended.
9.1.1.3 Ethernet (PT113EN only))
The PT113EN with an Ethernet port is capable of serial data output and bi-directional communication
using continuous data, BSI and Modbus protocols. Refer to 6.3.4.1 PT113EN for configuration
information.
Warning
: BSI mode can only be active for one port at a time.
Note: With Modbus TCP/IP over Ethernet no checksum is used.
ETHERNET Connector (RJ45), half duplex.

9.1.1.4 Continuous Data Formats
Continuous data output from the instrument is transmitted in the following data structures.
Note: CR (Carriage return) and LF (Line feed) codes can be enabled or disabled from the response in
RS-232C and RS-485 interface port settings, 6.3.2
but they must be sent to the PT113 at the end of
ASCII BSI commands.
The serial ports of the PT113 are suitable for bi-directional communication. If you transmit ASCII codes
for the P(print), Z(zero), T(tare) or C(clear) letters to the serial port of the PT113 the transmitter will act
as if the related keys had been pressed on an indicator. P, Z, T or C must be sent with a CR LF.
CHK (Checksum) can be enabled or disabled from both command and response and only continuous
data output can be programmed for more than one interface.
In weighing mode.
