Quick Start Guide
1.
Plug the Ultimate Outlet into the wall AC
outlet or power distribution device (such as
a Power Plant). Use the supplied cable or
an aftermarket power cable. For optimum
results we suggest the use of a PS Audio
xStream Power cable.
2.
A small click should be heard as the
relay comes on-line. The Ultimate Outlet
will now provide power to components
which are plugged into it.
3.
Plug in components or power distribution
devices into the Ultimate Outlet recep-
tacles.
4.
Ensure that the blown fuse light does not
illuminate.
5.
Enjoy the sonic and visual benefits the
Ultimate Outlet will bring to any system.
For information on how to mount the
Ultimate Outlet to a wall or ceiling please
refer to the instructions included with the
Ultimate Outlet wall mount kit.
Rear Panel Layout
1. IEC Power Input
15 amp male IEC standard power socket
2. Blown Fuse LED
This LED will only illuminate when the pro-
tection fuse is blown. The Ultimate Outlet
will not pass current to components while
the LED is illuminated.
3. Fuse
The fuse is a 1 amp fast blow. It can be
removed by inserting a flat device into the
fuse holder and twisting couter-clockwise.
Front Panel Layout
Power Receptacle(s)
Depending on the type of Ultimate Outlet
purchased, the power receptacle will either
be a Spec Grade, PS Audio Power Port™,
European Schuko or UK receptacle.
The Spec Grade Standard, High Current
Power Port™, Schuko and UK Spec ver-
sions provide two power receptacles.
