530 Ab-/Adductor is designed for muscular stabilization of the abducting or approaching
leg muscles.
Indications
•
Sarcopenia of the leg muscles
•
Nonspecific lower back pain
•
Postoperative rehabilitation after hip arthroplasty
Specific patient positioning
Exercise is performed in a seated starting position. The patient should be positioned in such a way that
the back maintains full contact with the backrest during the entire movement. The inclination of the
backrest can be adjusted by means of a gas pressure spring so that the patient can be exercised in a
seated or semi-recumbent position. To do this, the lever located on the left side of the user under the
seat is operated and the backrest is then adjusted. After releasing the lever, the backrest is fixed again.
The upper and lower legs are placed on the laterally padded leg rest. The footrests for training in the
closed movement chain are individually adjusted to the size of the patient/customer. By pulling the
locking pin under the leg supports (left for the left support, right for the right support), the leg support
