Hunt Group Calls
●
A
standard hunt group
is considered busy when all logged-in members
are busy or have logged off.
For standard hunt groups in which a hunt group call is signalled to
members in succession until a member accepts the call (
Linear
,
Cyclical
,
Statistical
), it is also possible to programme call forwarding after a certain
time (
Forward after time
). Calls are forwarded in this way if no group
member has accepted the hunt group call within a defined period of time.
It is also possible to specify whether members of a standard hunt group
can forward the hunt group call number to destinations that they have
programmed themselves (
Call forwarding of members possible
). An indi-
vidual call forwarding destination must be entered on the terminal. With
this process, users are free to select the type of call forwarding (when
busy, after a certain amount of time, immediately).
Note:
Multi-level call forwarding can be configured in the
Forum 5004/5008/5012 communications system. For infor-
mation regarding this, please refer to the chapter entitled
If “Forward at busy” has not been pre-set for a standard or comfort hunt
group,
external
hunt group calls can alternatively be forwarded to the
attendant console. To do so, in the
Configurator
, menu
Telephony
:
Settings
,
in section
Reaction to incoming calls
, configure the
Device busy
setting with
the value
Connection will go to attendant console
. With this configuration,
an
external
caller who has been in the call queue of a comfort hunt group for
an hour, waiting for their call to be accepted, will be forwarded to the
attendant console. Such a long waiting time is unlikely, but nevertheless
possible.
Last Group Member Logoff
With a
standard hunt group
, it is, in principle, possible for the last available
group member to log off. If this member logs off, any further callers will
receive a busy signal.
The option
Last member logoff possible
can be set for a
comfort hunt
group
. If this option is activated and the last available member logs off,
further callers are parked in the call queue. They remain parked there for a
maximum of one hour, providing they are not assigned beforehand to a
