of an enquiry call or if you have started a 3-party conference), recording is
automatically stopped for this call segment. Recording restarts as soon as
you speak with the external party again (e.g. once you have finished the
enquiry call).

The communications system saves each recorded call segment in an audio
file. Access to these audio files is reserved for the system administrator.

As soon as the connection to the external party is terminated, call
recording is ended.
Note on data protection
You must inform the external party that the call is being automatically
recorded.
Operating the function on a SIP system telephone
The system administrator can configure a function key for automatic call
recording on your SIP system telephone. If the current call is being recorded,
the LED of the function key lights up (Forum IPhone 5010/5020/5025/
5030). On the Forum IPhone 5040 telephone, the softkey changes to red.
If you have the relevant authorisation, you can cancel the recording by
pressing the function key (Forum IPhone 5010/5020/5025/5030: LED is
switched off). On the Forum IPhone 5040 telephone, the softkey goes back
to its neutral colour. If you cancel the recording, the entire recording of the call
segment in which you participated is discarded.
The LED resp the red softkey colour switches off automatically if recording is
not currently possible (e.g. because the required recording memory is full). In
this case, inform the system administrator.

Connections with Booking Numbers
You can use a booking number to record the call data of connections to
external subscribers and save it in the Forum 500 / Forum 5000
communications system for further analysis. Booking numbers are useful, for
example, for calculating costs per client (fees and times) in an office.
