Baby Call
You can save an internal or external call number in the
Main menu > Protection > Baby call
(see page 189) menu or using a feature
key (see page 107). If the feature has been activated, this programmed call
number is dialled when a specified period has expired (default setting is five
seconds after you have lifted the handset). If you begin dialling a call number
within the specified period, the baby call is cancelled.
The baby call can also be triggered by pressing the loudspeaker key
(Forum IPhone 5010) / loudspeaker/headset key
(Forum IPhone 5020/5025/5030/5040) or by pressing a trunk key
/

Your system administrator configures the baby call period from 0 to
20 seconds for all subscribers on the Forum 500 / Forum 5000
communications system.

Parking Calls
Users can “park” one or more callers to make other calls or put down the
handset and engage in other activities (see also the chapter
on page 125). This is fundamentally different from the “Hold
Connection” function; with this function the connection to the caller is
terminated when the called subscriber puts down the handset. Parked calls
are recorded in a list on the system terminal. Users can accept the calls from
Forum IPhone 5010: Press the loudspeaker key (hands-free
mode).
Forum IPhone 5020/5025/5030/5040: Press the
loudspeaker/headset key. (Hands-free mode will be
activated if the
Speaker

audio mode
has been set, see also page 97)
