1. De-grease rim bed. (Product such as Brake-Cleaner)
2. Apply one layer of the tape to the rim with slight tension. Center the tape in the rim
cavity and press down to adhere. Apply a 5cm strip of the tape to the rim covering the
valve hole rim.
3. Use a pin to pierce the tape in the valve area. Press valve body into the hole and secure
tightly with the valve nut.
4. Put some liquid soap in the contact area between the tire and rim. Mount the tyre
without adding any sealant and inflate using an air compressor to 3-4 bar / 45-60 psi. If the
tape has been correctly aligned the tyre should remain inflated for a few minutes.

CAUTION
- PROTOTYPE recommends using the CH3 sealant. For sealant installation
correctly, see the product manual in www.prototype.pt
CAUTION
- While applying the tape maintains a uniform tension to guarantee that the
tape is glued and centered in the cavity of the rim.
- Check that there are no air bubbles under the tape.
