Portable Water Polo Scoreboard
Introduction
To set-up the scoreboard system, first fold out the main scoreboard stand. Connect the power
to the scoreboard. It is important to supply this from a RCD protected power outlet. Plug one
set of shot-clocks into the rear of the main scoreboard using RJ45 patch cables. Plug the
second set of shot-clocks into the first set of shot-clocks. Plug the bench controller into the
socket on the rear of the main scoreboard.
Once turned on the board is ready to use. To restart a game, ensure the clock has been
stopped and press
RESET
three times. To display the time of day press the button with a clock
icon on it (ensure game clock is not counting first).
Playing a Game:
The
RUN/STOP
button starts the main clock & shot-clock countdown.
To
adjust scores
use the SCORE up/down arrows for BLUE team or White team.
The
Time Out Counter
starts off at ‘2’ for each team. Pressing the WHITE/BLUE TIMEOUT
up/down buttons modify the counters for the respective teams. The numbers are only reset
back to ‘2’ if the board is reset (press RESET GAME 3 times) or power cycled. If the display is
‘0’ and TIMEOUT down is pressed it blanks the display, useful for games where the timeout
counter is not used.
To load the
Time Out Timer
press LOAD TIMEOUT TIMER and a ‘T.O’ will be displayed on the
period clock and the time out timer will start counting down automatically. Pressing this button
again resumes the game. This time can be edited in the edit menu (described later)
To
Reset the Shotclocks
back to 30 seconds press the RESET SHOT button. If the game
clock is less than 30 seconds then they will display the remaining seconds.
