Unfolding the walking frame
Place the walking frame in front of you with
the front wheels in the forward position.
Activate the handbrake. To unfold pull the
back wheels backwards then use your hand
to push down the seat until the folding
mechanism snaps in. This integrated security
feature protects the walking frame from
accidential folding during the usage of it. To
use the walking frame without an adjusted
seat is prohibited and can cause serious
injuries. Especially if you want to overcome
an obstacle without the protector snapped
into place, the walking frame can collapse
and cause several injuries!
Folding of the walking
frame
Before folding up the walking frame, make
sure to remove the basket. Place the walking
frame in front of you with the front wheels
in the forward position. Then activate the
handbrake and finally grab the seat and pull
it up. Be careful not to pin any clothes or
body parts during the folding procedure.
Locking knobs
With the help of the locking knobs, the
height of the ergonomically shaped handles
can be easily and individually adjusted to the
user. By turning the locking knobs counter
clockwise they become loose and can be
fully removed. The handles can be pulled
out more or can be inserted further into the
frame. Make sure that at least 15 cm of the
handlebar rod remains inside the walking
frames crossbar.
This is assured if the given holes inside the
tubes are used to fasten the handlebar. To
fix the handlebar rod again turn the locking
knobs clockwise. The handlebar rods cannot
be over wound. The distance is eightfold
adjustable each with 2,5 cm.
Pay attention to the approved fastening of
the locking knobs while adjusting.
The braking function of the
walking frame
To slow down the walking frame pull both
brake handles slowly up to the handles.
To activate the handbrake push the broke
handle down in opposite direction until
there is a snapping sound.
To unlock the handbrake, pull up both broke
handles until the broke unlocks.
lmportant: Worn out plastic wheels can influ
-
ence the effectiveness of the brakes.
This is why the brakes should be controlled
regularly.
The basket
The basket makes your shopping truly com-
fortable. lt can be attached via hooks below
the seat.
Attention: The basket is only suitable for the
transport of groceries and similar things. lt
is not suitable to place children or animals
inside. The maximum loading weight is 5 kg.
lt is highly recommended not to overload the
basket since this can cause accidents and
damage the basket.
The seat
The wide and padded seat allows the user
to have breaks while walking and to take
the burden off of the legs. lmportant: Make
sure that the handbrake on the right and the
left side have been fully pressed down. The
activation of the handbrake is described in
detail in the category „braking function of
the walking frame“. Make sure that the only
