mOUNTING ThE RAdIO RECEIVER
Plug the radio receiver into a mains socket. Then plug
the device to be switched into the socket of the
radio receiver.
NOTE
the radio receiver should not be mounted behind
a metal cover, as this will restrict the range.
ATTENTION!
always check whether the power consumption
of the connected device does not exceed the
switching capacity.
mOUNTING ThE RAdIO TRANSmITTER
Remove the battery compartment cover
(6)
by
pressing lightly and simultaneously pushing in the
direction of the arrow. Insert the battery (CR2032)
into the radio transmitter with the correct polarity
(positive pole upwards) and slide the switch
(7)
into
position “I” to switch on the radio transmitter. Slide
the battery cover back onto the transmitter housing.
Mount the radio transmitter
(2)
on the casement
of the window to be monitored. Make sure that
the minimum gap size is taken into account (see
“Minimum width of window opening”).
1. To attach the radio transmitter, you can either use the
two supplied adhesive pads or 2 screws, which are
inserted through the two slots on the radio transmitter
and screwed into the window casement. Before you
screw in the radio transmitter, make sure that the
position of the radio transmitter is correct.
2. Attach the magnet housing
(3)
to the window frame
behind the radio transmitter so that the distance
between the magnet housing and the arrow mark on
the radio transmitter is not more than 7mm when
the window is closed. The magnet housing can either
be attached to the window frame with the enclosed
adhesive pad or with a screw. To do this, open the
magnet housing by levering out the lower part
(3c)
with a suitable screwdriver.
3. If the magnet housing does not fit close enough to
the radio transmitter, you can reduce the distance
using the washers
(U)
supplied.
4. After the washers and the bottom part of the magnet
housing have been fixed, reinsert the magnet
(3b)
and
then replace the upper part of the housing
(3a)
. Make
sure that the upper part of the housing engages correctly.
