5. HOW TO CHARGE 

 
Before  charging  or  recharging  your  appliance,  carefully  read 
the  section  warning  for  the  rechargeable  lead-acid  battery  in 
this manual. 

 

The device can be recharged in 2 different ways. 

 

- DC 12V charging : Using the included adaptor, remove the rubber 
plug, plug the cable into the DC 12V input of the device and plug into 
the power outlet. The charge indicator lights red during charging. 

 

- Solar charging: Using the solar panel, simply orient the lantern so 
that  the  solar  panel  is  facing  the  sun's  rays.  The  charge  indicator 
lights red during charging. 

 

Once  the  battery  is  fully  charged,  the  charge  indicator  turns  green. 
Then disconnect the DC power cord and put back the rubber plug. 
Your device is ready to use.
