Install the tap:
1.
Screw the fixing stud (A2) into the base of tap (A1) as shown on the above diagram.
2.
Place the base plinth (A3) over the fixing stud (A2) and fix the base plinth securely into place using the base plinth nut (A4)
3.
Hand tighten the cold filtered water to boiler flexi hose (B1) into the base of tap (A1) as shown on the above diagram.
4.
Hand tighten the cold filtered inlet flexi hose (C1) into the base of tap (A1) as shown on the above diagram.
5.
Hand tighten the 110°
⚠
rated hot flexi hose (D1) into the base of tap (A1) as shown on the above diagram.
6.
Pass the base plinth seal (A5) over the flexible hoses (B1, C1, D1) and fixing stud (A2) onto the base of the tap (A3).
7.
Screw pushfit (C3) into adaptor (C2), we recommend using PTFE tape (do not use sealing compound) on the thread of pushfit
(C3) to make a good seal without applying excessive force (which may damage the plastic pushfit if overtightened).
8.
Screw pushfit (C3) and adaptor (C2) into the cold filtered water inlet flexi hose (C1).
9.
Screw pushfit (B3) into adaptor (B2), we recommend using PTFE tape (do not use sealing compound) on the thread of pushfit
(B3) to make a good seal without applying excessive force (which may damage the plastic pushfit if overtightened).
10.
Screw pushfit (B3) and adaptor (B2) into the cold filtered water to boiler flexi hose (B1).
11.
Place the tap (A1-A5) centrally and straight to the tap hole, passing the fixing stud (A2), flexi hoses (B1, C1, D1) through the
tap hole one at a time.
12.
Pass the lower gasket (A7) then the metal horseshoe (A8) over the fixing stud (A2). Note: only if the tap is to be fitted to a
stainless steel sink then the white triangular plate (A6) can be fitted where shown to improve the stability of the tap and
create more space for the fixing nut (A9).
13.
Using an 11mm box spanner or small adjustable spanner tighten fixing nut (A9) onto the fixing stud (A2) fixing the tap
straight and central to the tap hole.
14.
Measure and then cut required length of ¼” pipe (C4) to connect pushfit (B3) to the boiler (E1). The ¼” pipe (C4) must be cut
cleanly and squarely with a sharp tube snip.
15.
Connect the 110°
⚠
rated hot flexi hose (D1) to the tundish assembly as instructed later once the boiler is installed.
