Description of how sleep and/or off mode was selected or programmed
Promethean Chromebox 2 will go into sleep mode after 7 minutes 30 seconds of no activity on the Promethean Chromebox 2.
Whilst operating the ActivPanel but not using the Promethean Chromebox 2 source, the Promethean Chromebox 2 will go into
sleep mode but still show on the ActivPanel as an active source.
• If the Promethean Chromebox 2 goes into sleep mode while it is the active source for the ActivPanel, reactivating the device
can be done through touching on the ActivPanel.
• If the Promethean Chromebox 2 goes into sleep mode while it is not the active source for the ActivPanel, reactivating the
device can be done by switching the ActivPanel source to the Promethean Chromebox 2.
Promethean Chromebox 2 can be turned on or off in several different ways via the ActivPanel
• With ActivPanel OFF and Promethean Chromebox 2 OFF, turning the ActivPanel ON will boot up the Promethean
Chromebox 2.
• With the ActivPanel ON and Promethean Chromebox 2 OFF, selecting the Promethean Chromebox 2 source on the
ActivPanel will boot up the Promethean Chromebox 2.
The duration of idle state condition before the computer automatically reaches sleep mode or another condition which does not
exceed the applicable power demand requirements for sleep mode
After 7 minutes 30 seconds of inactivity, the Promethean Chromebox 2 enters Sleep Mode.
Sequence of steps for achieving a stable condition with respect to power demand
Power demand stability is reached 5 minutes after the Promethean Chromebox 2 has launched. Power demand will vary
depending on programme/apps in operation or connected devices installed.
