We have set up the PBX3 Universal Bracket Plate with the PAH1 and SH1B Sphere to be in the most
optimal position for most cameras. The PAH1 mounted to the PBX3 Arca Compatible Bracket Plate
will allow you to still use an Arca Compatible Head if desired. If you would like to balance your camera
differently, see optional configurations below. There is a small Allen screw on the side of the PAH1
holding the SH1B in place as a safety. First, loosen that set screw, then using the larger 5/32 Allen
Key remove the SH1B. Replace the SH1B to your desired position. The PAH1 may also be configured
to the left, right, flipped over toward the back and installed in other positions too. Using the included
9/64 Allen Key remove and replace the PAH1 into your desired placement.
Once you have obtained
a comfortable shooting style, confirm all bolts and set screws are secure.
The SH1 Mechanism features
(2) Camera Holster Options.
1) Open Trigger: When the camera drops into the Holster, it locks. To remove, you
must lift the trigger to release your camera from the SH1. (Recommended Position)
2) Locked Trigger: When the camera drops into the Holster it is just resting in the
holster and can be pulled out without releasing the locking mechanism.
