INSTALLATION
Siting of the appliance

Do not keep your appliance in a room where the temperature is likely to fall below 10
degrees C (50 degrees F) at night and/or especially in winter, as it is designed to operate in
ambient temperatures b10 and +32 degrees C (50 and 90 degrees F). At lower
temperatures the appliance may not operate, resulting in a reduction in the storage life of the
food.
Do not place the appliance near cookers or radiators or in direct sunlight, as this will cause
extra strain on the appliance’s functions. If installed next to a source of heat or fridge,
maintain the following minimum clearances.
Choose a well ventilated location with no less than 10cm clearance around the freezer.
Place the freezer in a location with a firm base. In order to prevent vibration and noise, the
freezer must be levelled by adjusting the two front feet.

DO NOT PLACE IT IN AN EXCESSIVELY COLD OR HUMID AREA SUCH AS A
GARAGE OR CELLAR ETC.

If you are discarding an old appliance with a lock or catch fitted to the door, ensure that it is

left with the door catch broken and in a safe condition to prevent children getting trapped

inside.

We suggest you contact your local authority for information on the correct and safe method

of disposal.

Disposal of all packaging in an environmentally friendly way.

USE OF THE APPLIANCE

Before plugging in your fridge for the first time remove all packaging, clean the freezer with

lukewarm water and bicarbonate of soda. Wipe dry with a soft cloth.

Plug the freezer into the mains power supply .

Temperature control

The temperature in the freezer is controlled by the thermostat control knob inside the freezer.

Turn the thermostat control knob up or down to regulate the temperature inside the freezer.

The numbers on the control knob indicate the different temperatures ”MIN, NORMAL, MAX

and OFF. The temperature decreases continuously with position MIN being the warmest and

MAX  being the coldest.

Set the control to position NORMAL for normal use, you may set the control to any position

if you find position NORMAL is too cold or too warm.

Your freezer is suitable for the long-term storage of commercially frozen foods and also can

be used to freeze and store fresh food.

If there is a power failure , do not open the door. Frozen food should not be affected if the

failure lasts for less than 12 hrs. If the failure is longer, then the food should be checked and

either eaten immediately or cooked and then re-frozen
