The appliance can be used for boiling or heating water to a desired temperature.
NOTE: If you have used the jug for making tea, it is recommended to thoroughly
clean the interior of the jug and remove the tea basket before boiling or heating
water.
1. Remove the jug from the power base and remove the jug lid.
2. Fill the jug with desired amount of water between the MIN (0.5L) and MAX
(1.7L) markings.
3. Fit the jug lid onto the jug and place the jug onto the power base.
4. a) To boil water (100°C):
Press to start the boiling cycle.
The indicator lights around the 100°C button and the button will
illuminate.
b) To heat water to a desired temperature:
Press and then press a temperature button. The appliance will start the
heating cycle.
The indicator lights around the selected temperature button and the
button will illuminate.
NOTE: If the jug is removed from the power base during the heating or boiling
cycle, the cycle will automatically cancel.
5. Once the selected temperature is reached, the appliance will beep twice and
the indicator lights surrounding the temperature button and the button
will go out.
• To turn off the appliance before the heating or boiling cycle is complete,
press . The indicator lights around the buttons will go out.
