BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME
In order to remove any dust or protec
ti
ve residues from the manufacturing process, it is recommended to
run a boiling cycle and then discard the water.
1. Wash the tea basket and tea basket lid in soapy water with a so
ft
sponge, rinse and dry thoroughly.
NEVER IMMERSE THE BASE OF THE GLASS JUG, THE POWER BASE, POWER CORD OR POWER PLUG
IN WATER OR ALLOW MOISTURE TO COME IN CONTACT WITH THESE PARTS.
2. Place the power base on a

at, dry surface.
3. Fill the glass jug with water to the water maximum mark (1.7L WATER MAX) and place on the power
base. Fit the jug lid onto the glass jug.
4. Plug the power base into the mains socket.

y illuminate then go out.
5. Press the 100°C bu
tto
n and then press
to start the cycle.

The light around the 100°C bu

ash and the light around the

on will illuminate.
6. Once the water reaches 100°C, the appliance will beep twice (repeat 3
ti
mes) and the light around 100°C
bu
tt
on will stop

ashing and the light around the

on will go out.
7. Discard the water. The appliance is now ready to use.
BREWING TEA
1. Remove the glass jug from the power base and remove jug lid. Fill with desired amount of water.
2. Remove the tea basket from the pull rod of the tea basket lid by turning it
an

clockwise.
3. Fill the basket with tea leaves.

in place.
5. Fit the tea basket lid onto the jug and place the glass jug onto the power base.
6. Press a brewing temperature bu

on. The light around the selected bu
tto
n will
illuminate.
