OPERATING THE RADIO
1. Set the function selector to the
ON
position to turn on the radio.
2. Adjust volume using the volume control.
3. Select desired band with the AM/FM Band Switch.
4. Tune in to desired station using
TUNING

When playing FM stations, fully extend the FM antenna for optimal reception.
y
When playing AM stations, turn the unit slowly until the best reception is obtained.
To turn off the radio
Slide the function selector to the
OFF
position.
SETTING THE ALARM
The alarm function can be selected from two alarm sounds, RADIO or BUZZER.
Notes:
Before setting the alarm, make sure to set the clock (see “SETTING THE CLOCK”).
Setting the alarm time
1.
Press and hold down the
AL
Set
button.
2.
Press the
Hour Set
button repeatedly until you reach the correct hour setting.
3.
Keep holding down the
AL Set
button and press the
Minute Set
button repeatedly
until you reach the correct minute setting.
4.
To check the alarm time, press the
AL Set
button.
To set the radio alarm
1.
Tune to a station and adjust the volume (see “OPERATING THE RADIO”).
2.
Set the desired alarm time (see “Setting the alarm time”).
3.
Slide the function selector to the
AUTO
position, a red dot will light in the upper left
corner of the display.
4.
When the set alarm time is reached, the radio will play for about 1 hour 59 minutes
before turning itself off automatically. To continue playing radio, slide the function
selector to the
ON
position.
5.
To stop the alarm, press the
AL Set
button or slide the function selector to the
OFF
position to turn off the alarm.
To set the buzzer alarm
1.
Set the desired alarm time (see “Setting the alarm time”).
2.
Turn the volume control fully clockwise to the
Buzz
position until a click is heard.
3.
To stop the buzzer, press the
AL Set
button or slide the function selector to the
OFF
position.
