IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to
reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock and / or personal injury.
1. Read all instructions.
2. Make sure that your outlet voltage correspondent to the voltage stated on the rating label
on the underside of the appliance.
3. Do not immerse the appliance, cord or plug in water or any other liquid.
4. This product is not a toy; keep out of reach of children.
5. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning.

Always turn the power off at the power outlet and then remove the plug when not in
use and before cleaning.
7. To disconnect, remove the plug from the wall outlet. Do not pull the cord to remove the
plug from the mains supply socket.

Do not use the appliance if the plug, the mains cord or the appliance itself is damaged.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or
similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
9. Do not use an extension cable, it may result in fire, electric shock and / or personal injury
due to a tripping hazard.
10. Do not let the cord hang over edge of the table or counter, or touch a hot surface.
11. Always allow the appliance to cool before attaching accessories and before cleaning.
12. Only use this appliance for the intended use as laid out in these instructions.
13. Do not leave the coffee maker unattended while it is operating.
14. Be careful not to get scalded by steam, direct it away from hands and fingers.
15. Use handles and knobs only, accessible surfaces get hot.
16. Never use the appliance if the carafe shows any signs of cracks. Only use the carafe
supplied with this appliance. Use care, as the carafe is very fragile.
17. Never switch your coffee maker on without water in it.
18. Carefully add water to the tank. Wipe the control panel immediately if splashed by water.
19. Stand the appliance on a stable flat surface before use.
20. Do not use outdoors.
21. Do not fill the tank when the appliance is on. Turn the appliance off and allow to
cool before filling with water.
22. Make sure the carafe sits in place when brewing coffee, otherwise hot water or coffee will
overflow.
23. Never leave the empty carafe on the warming plate otherwise the carafe is liable to crack.
24. Always use the proper grind of coffee. Too fine of a grind could clog the filter and cause hot
water or coffee to overflow.
The use of accessory not recommended by the manufacturer may result in fire, electric
shock or injury to persons.
