Malfunction

Troubleshooting

The unit does not
power on after the
power button is
pressed.

Attach the unit to a USB power adapter. (This should allow the
unit to operate as well as charge the battery for mobile operation.)

Wait at least 5 seconds after powering on to see if the display
appears.

Increase the brightness of the backlight.

Connect the unit to a USB power adapter. If this succeeds, then
the battery may be low on power. Keep the unit connected to the
USB power adapter to remedy this situation.

Nothing displays on
the screen after the
unit is powered on.

Briefly press the “reset” button on the back of the unit to reset it.
Note that this will delete data.

The unit suddenly
shuts off.

Ensure that the lithium battery is fully charged.
