4 DETERMINING YOUR
LOCATION
The alarm button is provided with a built-
in GPS receiver, used to determine your
location.
In outdoor situations, your location will be
quickly determined – usually within several
seconds – but when indoors or when walk-
ing past high buildings this can take up to
several minutes.
Your location cannot be determined when
you’re inside a fast moving vehicle, such
as a train.
The alarm button will share your location
via SOS, but also per request. Make sure
to make clear agreements with the person
programming your alarm button and with
all your programmed SOS contacts.
