Keep the instruction manual at a safe place
The following safety precautions are always to be followed by the use of electric tools:
• Read the instruction manual with great care and follow all safety instructions!
• If the machine is not in use and you intend to mount the machine or before cleaning remove the
plug from the socket.
• o safe yourself from electric shocks you need to take care that neither the electric cable
nor the plug or any accessories can get in touch with water or any other fluids.
• Do not use the machine in any hazarded area. Also do not use the machine in a damp or
wet area and don’t leave the machine standing in the rain. Make sure that your working
area is a dry place.
• Do, under no circumstances, take the machine into operation if the cable or the plug are
damaged, if the machine has malfunction, the machine has been dropped or has been
damaged in any other way.
• The use of accessories which are not on offer or are not recommended by us can cause
damages (e.g. Fire, electric shock, damage to someone’s health).
• Keep your working area clean – untidiness can lead to accidents!
• Use the machine and it’s accessories exclusively for the work it is intended for!
• Don’t leave the machine unattended during operation!
• Don’t surcharge the machine. Take care that the machine stands secure and does not bounce or
totter.
• Take care that all non-users keep a safe distance from the machine, especially children.
• Do, under no circumstances, touch the running cutting blade.
• Grinding produces sparks – make sure that no flammable substances and materials are in the wor-
king area.
• Treat all tools with great care. Take care that the tools are undamaged and clean to assure clean and
safe work.
• To avoid any accidents make sure that, before you connect the machine to the main power supply,
the main power switch (ON/OFF-switch) is set on OFF.
• Don’t stand heavy objects on the machine.
• Before starting the machine check if any part may be damaged. Damaged parts need to be properly
repaired or replaced before use.
• The main power supply to which the machine is to be connected needs to conform with the requi-
rements of the machine (voltage, frequency, fuse protection etc.) In case of doubt please contact an
electrician.
• Take care of the relevant regulations for the prevention of industrial accidents of the respective
government safety organisation!
