The appliance is in conformity with the requirements of the
directives:

The appliance was marked by a sign on the rating label.
Electrostatic charge
Vacuuming certain surfaces in low air humidity may lead to
an electrostatic charge build-up. It is a natural phenomenon,
which does not damage the appliance and is not a result of
a fault.
In order to minimize electrostatic charge build-up:

discharge the appliance by frequently touching metal
objects in the room with the suction tube,
●
increase the humidity in the room,
●
use widely available anti-static agents.

Prepare vacuum cleaner for operation

Insert the suction hose into the vacuum cleaner inlet.
The distinctive click indicates a correctly mounted hose.

Connect the other end of the hose (handle) with the
telescopic suction tube.

Adjust the length of the telescopic suction tube as
required using the slider as indicated by the arrow.

Fit the appropriate nozzle or brush at the other end of the
suction tube.

Use combination carpet & floor brush for vacuuming
both hard surfaces and carpets. To vacuum hard surfaces —
wood flooring, plastic floor lining, ceramic tiles etc. — extend
the brush by pressing the selector switch on the unit as
shown in Figure
. Retract the brush when vacuuming
carpets (set the selector switch to “
” position).

Accessories can be attached to the accessory holder
located on the telescopic tube. Accessories are then readily
accessible for use.

Grab the plug and pull the power cord out of the vacuum
cleaner.
When pulling out the cord, note the yellow
stripe which marks the end of the cord. Further
attempts to pull it out may cause damage.

Plug in the appliance.
Before turning on the vacuum cleaner make sure that
“CYCLONE” dust container, primary and outlet filters are
properly fitted in the appliance.

Press the on/off button to turn on the vacuum cleaner.

The vacuum cleaner features a suction power regulator
that allows continuous adjustment of the suction power. Adjust
suction power using the suction power adjustment slider.

Moving the slider as indicated will increase or decrease
the suction power.
Remove filters
Make sure the appliance is turned off and unplugged from
wall outlet before you replace the filters.
PRE-FILTER CONE
Periodically clean the pre-filter cone.

Remove the “CYCLONE” dust container.

Press the latch located on the “CYCLONE” dust
container and open the bottom of the container.

Turn the pre-filter cone anti-clockwise (UNLOCK).

Remove the pre-filter cone from the “CYCLONE” dust
container.

If the pre-filter cone is soiled, you can rinse it under
running water. Make sure the filter is dry before reinstalling.
Note the seal on the bottom flange of the cone.
Do not misplace it.
