Set Up WiFi
Commissioning with the App
1.
Install the “Proficook Sous Vide” app. Create a user account.
2.
Place the appliance within about 5 meters from your router.
3.
If you are using a dual-band router that supports the 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz WLAN frequency, please make sure that your cell
phone is connected to the 2.4 GHz WLAN network. The appliance will
not
work in a 5 GHz network. Please refer to the
manual of your model to find out how to switch between the two frequencies or which router settings are required.
4. Connect the appliance to a properly installed grounded power outlet.

Open the app and select “
+
”.
6.
While the appliance is turned off, press and hold the button for about 3 - 5 seconds. A control tone sounds and the
control lamp flashes first slowly and then quickly.
NOTE:
Make sure that the control lamp flashes quickly. If it does not flash quickly, press the button again for approx.
3 - 5 seconds.
7.
Click on “Next”.

The app displays the SSID of the current network to which the cell phone is connected. Please make sure again that the
cell phone is connected to the 2.4 GHz network and
not
to the 5 GHz network.
9.
Enter the WiFi password for configuration and follow the instructions on the screen.
NOTE:
•
The configuration must be completed within one minute. If this time is exceeded, proceed again as described in
points 5 - 9.
•
Please note that the configuration is not successful if the cell phone is not connected to the 2.4 GHz.
•
If you start the app before the cell phone is connected to the WLAN, exit the app completely. Start the app again. The
app will then display the SSID of the current network.

If the configuration failed, repeat the process.
10.
After the appliance has been successfully connected, the control lamp lights up. Now you can operate the appliance
via app.
NOTE:
Once the appliance is connected to the app, the above procedure does not need to be repeated. Connect the appliance
to the power supply and press the button
shortly
. After a short time, the control lamp lights up permanently and
the appliance can be controlled via the app.
Please make sure that no changes have been made to the router and the WLAN network in the meantime. Otherwise
the appliance must be reconnected.
