The DR8 Salmiéri mic clamps
All microphones in the DR8 Salmiéri set are equipped and delivered with their respective clamps. The DRM-
OV and DRM-KD mics come with a clamp or attachment that can be attached to a boom stand with
standard hardware. DRM-C mics are equipped with standard hardware to attach to tom clamps.
The DRM-C and DRM-KD mics have their own clips, attached to the mics to position them directly on the
stand or clamp. The DRM-OV mics are supplied with a microphone clip adapted to their size.
A clamp for tom and snare drum is provided for the DRM-C to position these mics to the hoops of the snare
drums and toms.
Mounting DR8 Salmiéri mics
The microphones of the DR8 Salmiéri set are of two types, dynamic for DRM-C and DRM-KD and static for
DRM-OV. These r 48V phantom power to operate. Note that all these mics are cardioids, except the
DRM-KD which is super-cardioid.
