Making Vegan Yogurt

Nondairy yogurt can be made from legume, nut, seed, grain,
or coconut milk. Homemade milks culture the best. Purchased
milks should contain as few additives as possible.

Choose a thickener to add to the yogurt. Without a thickening
agent, vegan yogurt will culture but will not set. Follow
package instructions as to whether to add before or after
heating the milk.
3.
Heat the milk to 110°F (43°C). Add vegan starter culture and
process according to recipe.
4.
Refrigerate to cool. Vegan yogurt will set when chilled.

Disconnect power before cleaning. Do not immerse cord, plug,
or base in water or any liquid.

Unplug yogurt maker.
2.
Wipe unit with a damp cloth; then dry. Do not use abrasive
cleansers or metal scouring pads. The yogurt container and
lid can be cleaned in the top rack of the dishwasher.

“P” shows in display and light flashes.
• Power was off and for food safety, the yogurt should be
discarded.
“E” shows in display and light flashes.
• Turn OFF (O) and call customer service.
