When the shield has a break or is
NOT
connected, the Shield icon is
NOT
lit. This cable
seems to pass, but for PROFINET and other Industrial Ethernet systems, this cable should
NOT
be
approved!
3.1.3 Wire
break
If a wire break is detected, the affected pins will be blank and the “Open” icon will be ON (blinking).
