MOUNT TOOL ON A WOOD WORKBENCH
The hardware to mount the tool is not included.
1. Clean the work area where the tool will be mounted.
2. Position the tool, check that it will be level and there are no
obstructions around it that will interfere with a long workpiece.
3. Slide a flat washer over a 1/4 x 1 in. wood screw and secure
the grinder in place.
4. Repeat with three more screws. Tighten all screws until the
gap between the grinder base and the bench top is 1/8 in.
CHOOSING A SANDING SLEEVE
The sanding sleeve size is determined by the work area of the
workpiece. Smaller diameters are better for tight areas, while the
larger sleeves are appropriate for flat areas or gentle curves.
TABLE INSERT SELECTION
CAUTION! A mismatched table insert and sanding sleeve
can leave a gap beween them that can catch a finger or the
workpiece. Ensure the table insert matches the sanding sleeve
size to avoid an injury or damage to the workpiece.
The table insert chosen should have the minimum space
between the inner wall and the side of the sanding drum/sleeve
for better control of the workpiece. Match the table insert to
the sanding drum and upper spindle washer in Table 1.
