thank you for purchasing a PRO-JECT AUDIO Head Box MK II.
In order to achieve maximum performance and reliability you should study these instructions for use carefully.

Important notice.
Connection to the amplifier
Connect the RCA/Phono sockets marked
Out
on the Head Box to the RCA/Phono sockets marked
Tape In
on your amplifier, and the
Tape Out
sockets on your amplifier to the
In
sockets on the Head Box.
Take care to connect the left and right channels correctly. The right channel is usually marked red, the left
channel black or white.
Connecting the headphones
Connect the headphones to the ¼“ (6,3mm
∅
) jack socket on the front of the Head Box. Use the control knob
to adjust the level to the required volume.

Please turn the volume level to minimum before connecting the headphone.
Minimum impedance of the head phone 30ohms.
Headphone replay
Use the input selector of the amplifier to choose the source you wish to hear. You may also have to engage
the
Tape Monitor
button, depending on how your amplifier switches sources to tape.
Mains power connection
The Speed Box is supplied with a power supply suitable for your country's mains supply. Check the label
before connecting to ensure compliance with the mains rating in your house. Connect the low voltage plug
from the power supply to the
Power ~16V
socket before connecting the power supply to the mains.
