SETUP AND ADJUSTMENT

HOW TO UNFOLD THE PILATES CHAIR

To unfold the pilates

chair for use, first

raise it to the position

shown.

Then, firmly hold the

front and rear edges

of the seat (1), and

rotate the seat in the

direction shown by

the arrows until the

seat is level. As you

do this, the front and

rear legs (2, 3) will

unfold.

HOW TO USE THE HAND CORDS

To use the hand cords (4), attach them to any of the

hooks (5) on the frame.

HOW TO ADJUST THE PEDALS

The pedals can be used in either of two positions.

When the pedals are in the low position, you can

exercise by pulling the pedals upward. When the

pedals are in the high position, you can exercise by

pushing the pedals downward.

To adjust the pedals (6), pull the adjustment knob (7)

outward, move the pedals to the low or high position,

and then release the adjustment knob. Move the ped-

als upward or downward slightly to make sure that

the adjustment knob is engaged in one of the two

adjustment holes (not shown).

When the pedals

(6) are in the high

position, you can

add resistance with

the pedal cords (8)

beneath the seat.

Attach the pedal

cords to the hooks

(9) on the pedals.

For maximum resis-

tance, attach the

pedal cords to the

hooks closest to the pedal pads (10).
