Plug the RCD directly into a fixed socket and then plug the appliance into the RCD to allow it to be protected

Operating instructions:

Please read these operating instructions prior to use and always observe the test procedure below before each application to 

ensure safe use.

 

1.  Insert the RCD safety adaptor into a 13A mains socket and switch on

 

2.  Press the RESET button and wait for the orange indicator to appear

 

3.  Press the TEST button and the orange indicator will disappear from the CLEAR window

Important:

 Do Not Use If The Indicator Remains

 

4.   Press the RESET button. The RCD has now been set for safe use provided the ORANGE indicator shows in the 

CLEAR window

DO: Unplug from the mains before any inspection of the appliance

 

DO: Keep children away from sockets and electrical appliances

 

DO: Seek expert advice if you experience difficulties when setting up your adaptor or if it repeatedly trips when in use

 

DO: Store and use your adaptor between -5°C and +40°C
