CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
•
Clean the unit only with a damp cloth. Do not use any chemicals, abrasives or
solvents that could damage the casing or lens.
•
If after long periods of use the duration diminishes significantly, the battery may be
getting aged and require changing.
•
Remove the 4 screws on the back of the solar panel and lift off the top.
•
Remove the old battery and replace with one of identical specification noting the
polarity.
•
Refit the top and replace the screws then allow the new battery to fully charge.
OPERATION
•
Allow at least 8hrs for the battery to fully charge initially.
NOTE:
the lamp does not light except in low ambient light levels.
•
When the light level is low, press the button on the rear
of the solar panel once to turn on the LEDs.
•
Press the button again to select flashing mode.
•
Press the button again to turn the LEDs off.
•
When the ambient light falls below a preset level the
string LEDs will illuminate.
•
The LEDs will illuminate for up to 7hrs depending on
mode selected and battery charge level.
•
The LED string can be extended and hung over trees, fences, eaves etc as
required.
