Note: This product requires a degree of preparation before assembly and
installation can proceed. If you are not familiar with the methods of installing an
underground mains supply to BS7671:2018 please consult a qualified electrician.
•
Excavate a hole approximately 500mm diameter and 150mm deep so that an
underground mains supply can be installed with 2.5 metres of cable projecting up
through the centre of the mounting surface.
•
Screw the three threaded studs into the holes in the corners of the triangular
mounting
to the end of the thread only so 45mm of thread projects.
•
Fill the hole with soft cement and pass the cable through the triangular mounting
and sink the studs into the wet cement so the triangular mounting sits centrally on
the surface with the mains supply cable projecting upwards through the centre.
•
Check the mounting sits perfectly level in both planes or the lamp will not stand
perfectly vertical.

•
Allow the cement to fully harden before final assembly
of the lamp.
•
Ensure the mains supply is turned off and isolated.
•
Pass the supply cable up through the base unit and
lower it onto the mounting so the three studs pass
through the holes in the bottom flange.
•
Fix into position using the three plain and spring
washers and the domed nuts.
