Flint Fire Starter
Grasp watch band firmly on each end. FIRST, scrape black coating away from Flint Stick
of Flint Fire Starter. Hold bare Flint Stick against tinder pile. Scrape the jagged metal
edge of the band against the Flint Stick repeatedly until spark is created. Stronger
scraping results in more sparks. Use tinder containing dry wood or tissue; dry material
will start a fire more efficiently.
When using the Flint Fire Starter, find a safe outdoors
area out of direct wind. Take proper precautions to prevent spread of any fire.
